darkness is your candle Episode 3 starts a little slow focusing more on getting in the studio and the chic that be curvin dudes is recording a demo, and ohh yea Shaolin was back to man hoein for the dollars. Kind of like when a dude is broke but his ugly chic just got her tax return back so now he comin around more. Most of all it taught us don't ever give your money to a coked out producer, cause 9 times out of 10 you will end up in a studio singing a song called 'Disco Biscuit'.

seek those who fan your flames I know, I know, episode 1 got a little crazy and your friends might be asking "ay did you watch episode 2?" Hopefully you lied and said the earthquake knocked out your internet or you was at work. But episode 2's craziness starts where episode 1's finished. The Fantastic Four Plus One is sitting in front of Grand Master Flash the 'Father of Hip-Hop' and he reaches in his pocket and pulls out the 'mighty' the 'mystery' the 'opening' I'm not talking about a Harry Potter wand, Homie pulled out a purple crayon. And gave the crew the mystery of the crayon to solve within 24 hours. It was this time when Zeke got a vision from watchin pigeons fly around in circles that the crayon is the key to Grand Master's "quick-mix theory" also known as the backspin technique.
"Where there is ruin, there is hope for a treasure" Episode 1 is all about character development and introducing the characters that will eventually make up the story based in South Bronx. So keeping it hip-hop fast-forward the love bullshit. The hip-hop part starts with Grand Master Flash talking to Shaolin Fantastic about getting a record for 'The Get Down' later, as well as finding a wordsmith, two things that will be explained a little later. Fast Forward robbing a record store and getting chased by gangs and the main character Zeke getting curved by the same chick twice in one episode, and this weird shootout in the club. We get back to hip-hop. The local block party, where Grand Master Flash is spinning records, and then Shaolin Fantastic passes him the rare disco record. This is where it gets really hip-hop: The Get Down has become one of the most talked about shows in hip-hop as of lately. Produced by one of the greatest rappers of all-time Nas, this NetFlix six part series truly shows the essence and the beginnings of hip-hop. But with the everyday hustle and shuffle of life who has time to watch all of the extra stuff that comes with it mainly the drawn out love scenes. So here's your cheat sheet to 'The Get Down' minus the Hollywood love bullshit.
