Wester's Dictionary defines 'Vision' as: 1) The ability to see; sight or eyesight. 2) Something that you imagine; a picture that you see in your mind; 3) Something that you see or dream especially as part of a religious or supernatural experience. And for anyone who has listened to 'Visions From the Tisdale' will agree that all three of these definitions are the essence of the of what makes this album so great. It started with a VISION one that Steph Simon not only spoke about, but to put it into his words, 'Speak it into existence'.

Tulsa has many attractions, museums, ball parks, the zoo, Tulsa Performing Arts Center, and the BOK Center. But tucked away is one small unknown oasis in Tulsa called Tones beach. A place where there are good vibes, good people, inflatable palm trees, el caminos, the beach dog named Charlie, and of course good raps. And the life guard of this rap oasis is none other than Dial Tone.
The sun is in high rise, 103 degrees on the the temperature gauge, and the place chosen to escape this heat is none other than the SoundPony bar. It was here just 3 days ago that I was here listening to some of the local artists, when a new Kyd stepped to the mic and began to tell his story. Fast forward back to 103 degrees and some rock song playing in the background, and bar patrons telling stories about who knows what. A guy in a green shirt walks in and judging by the other patrons in the bar isn't apart of the regulars. As he approaches it gets clearer and clearer that it the same Kyd that was just rapping here 3 days ago named Kyd Rexx.
