Lil Uzi Vert also known as the self-proclaimed "rockstar rapper", is the very definition of the new era of rap. The origins of his name 'Uzi' comes from a fan in the audience that heard him rapping and said he sounded like a Uzi when he raps. The 'Vert', part Uzi came up with himself and stands for the vertical leap to the top of game. His unique personality is what helps him connects with the new generation, but also clash with some of the older generation's hip-hop purists.
