XXL Freshman '17 Part 2, and the next up on the list is PnB Rock. I know what your thinking. What? Well let me break it down. PnB Rock's name comes from the intersection of the streets that he grew up on. As he explains it, in Philly the section called "Germantown" is where the streets Pastorius (E. Pastorius St.) and Baynton St. intersect. But PnB is also a common name used for local artists from that area of which PnB happens to be on of these. When you think of Philly you think of hard-core battle rappin, Rocky stairs, and the Ruff Ryder bikes. So it is a surprising fact that PnB Rock broke 4 bones in his foot by falling off a scooter in Miami. But he just like Lil Uzi Vert is not your average Philly rapper/singer, PnB Rock has a very unique and also thru the use of auto-tune, distinct style. And he is already making some major moves with the backing of his label Atlantic. One being already being featured on soundtracks. The Fate of the Furious a.k.a Fast And Furious 8. His track "Black Horses features last years '16 XXL Freshman Kodak Black also signed to Atlantic. And as a true entrepreneur he owns his own burger joint called Burger Lane in Philly.
