Industry Autopsy
darkness is your candle Episode 3 starts a little slow focusing more on getting in the studio and the chic that be curvin dudes is recording a demo, and ohh yea Shaolin was back to man hoein for the dollars. Kind of like when a dude is broke but his ugly chic just got her tax return back so now he comin around more. Most of all it taught us don't ever give your money to a coked out producer, cause 9 times out of 10 you will end up in a studio singing a song called 'Disco Biscuit'. So the Fantastic Four Plus One go into an audio store to get some DJ equipment and of course they got bad credit and can't buy shit, so instead they decide to buy a tape, but this aint no ordinary cassette tape, thus is a recording of Grand Master Flash Live. What they don't realize is that the cardinal sin of a hip-hop crew. "Thou Shall not bootleg". Some old heads would say don't be a 1fugazi. By throwing a party and most of all fakin like you a real DJ while playing Grand Master Flash's music in the background, they found out all to fast what Milli Vanilli found out after the tape skipped, that fake shit don't last and the party didn't last long either. Especially when you gotta crew of dudes busting up the party and threatening to anally rape like that episode of the Boondocks. And like that the Fantastic Four Plus One was vanished from the hip-hop scene.
1fugazi - urban dictionary defines as "Someone that copies or fronts. A hipster. Someone that bites. Someone that claims to be original when you know their whole style is a reenactment. Superficial. So what do you do after you get vanished from basically doing any sort of business,? You do what any business would do.... You re-brand yourself a.k.a "change your name" . So the Fantastic Four Plus One are now called The Get Down Brothers, after their bonding experience of getting rid of a car with a dead body in the trunk. Not exactly your bonfire cooking s'mores experience, but hey its the Bronx. And then it happens July 13, 1977 the Blackout, we talking no air in the summer in the middle of a heat wave, we talking looting and rioting going on in the streets. But why is this date important you ask? Because before this date there was only a few DJs cause nobody could afford a $600 DJ set up. But after the Blackout everybody and they momma was DJ and had a crew. Kind of like the iPhone, first nobody had them, now who don't have one or have had one. Finally, Episode 3 proves that the Drake formula works, that if you open up emotionally to a chic, then your probability of gettin some goes up exponentially. Be sure to stay tuned we half way thru and the 4th episode is where it goes down.
