Jay-z, an artist that with just one tweet can shut down the whole internet. And as J's timeline has told his tweets are often like his flows, don't take it at face value because there's always a double meaning. So since Jay-Z has been a little busy (Answer your phone J.) I thought I would do my own interview and call it "The Twitterview" with Jay-Z. Check it out. Jay-Z your first tweet was on November 22, 2008. Let’s take a look at your first tweet ever. As an artists you're often seen as this god-like larger than life figure. What would you tell people who think that Jay-Z the artist, can do no wrong? You recently did an article with the New York Times as a voiceover in a draw and tell story. If you had one word to sum up your experience with doing the voiceover for the New York Times article "The War on Drugs is an Epic Fail" what would it be? It’s been a lot of different racial issues being presented in the media. Do you have any books that you read to keep you engaged and knowledgable about what’s going on in America and that you would recommend? Let's talk TIDAL, a new streaming platform that you and other artists have collectively built and are going all-in on. Why TIDAL? So we know that TIDAL is similar to Spotify and Pandora in that it allows consumers to stream their favorite artist's music? What do you feel differentiates TIDAL from other sites that do streaming also? There has been a lot of backlash towards TIDAL. What are your thoughts on this? Just like TIDAL you were the first through the wall when releasing your album on Samsung devices. What's your response to the naysayers? Talking about your last album Magna Carta... Holy Grail. What would you say about the importance of this album? You have become the first rapper to be inducted into the Songwritters Hall of Fame. How big was this for hip-hop? You are a legend in the game and a lot of people have payed homage to your music by doing their own version to your songs. Do you have a favorite line from someone who has covered one of your songs? Getting a little into your personal life. Beyoncé is an amazing artists who sells out shows and arenas all over the world, and obviously you get a front row seat to that. How does it feel to be a fan at a Beyoncé performance? Twitter has become a platform for artists to instantly connect with their fans.
