Midnight has always been associated with images of a world that lives by more than what's 'Right'. A world where the rules get bent, and where certain codes are followed. You know the things that are easily done by the camouflage of the night. But what happens when the when that line between day and night gets blurred? Some call it "Midnight in Broad Daylight". For T3DA it means "Broad Day Gang", which is a recent release that explains just who T3DA is.
T3DA is an independent artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma that through his hard work and talent has been gaining notoriety and praise. He's known for having a street sound that has been seen on collaborations on street anthems “50 Band Lick” and "Pick A Side".
The video Broad Day Gang was shot by SolFilms and shows T3DA in his environment surrounded by his squad of street representatives. "T3DA be that nigga that these niggas love to hate," these words are echoed throughout the chorus and represents the duality of the love he gets from his homies and friends that know and respect The Real T3 and the hate that comes from outsiders who only know T3DA. Hard lines like "Hit him in his head, leave him red just like Yachty", are scattered throughout both verses and the chorus and are reinforced by imagery of guns that can be seen throughout the video. Some would say it is a 2nd Amendment right and others would say it might be the only thing that keeps them alive as T3DA says at the end of the chorus "Keep a glizzy on my waist, so a nigga won't get waste."
T3DA is a rap story teller of the events that have occurred throughout his life, while at the same time using metaphors and similes to help to make the verses relatable and also just some tight RAP SHIT!
