You know who it is,once again. The perfect introduction for an artist that has been cranking out hits is "You know it is once again." As Keeng Cut's alter ego Flavio Cútatore sings it's hard not to acknowledge that he has truly been on an unprecedented run and steadily cranking out hits. And it's with his latest video 2U that the world gets the formal introduction to the alter ego that is Flavio Cútatore, where he proves that you can be you and have all the flavor. Flavio Cútatore is truly a separate artists that has his own style, his own delivery, and most of all his own flavor. Where as Keeng Cut is more of the high-energy rapper that showcases metaphors and lyrical skill. Flavio Cútatore is a smoother, more refined artist who tailors his music for the ladies and is known for his indulgence in extravagance. But this isn't the first time we've seen Flavio Cútatore as he's appeared on other hit singles such as "Cuttin Up" (see the article here)", "Marathon Lady" and "NFMC". The song 2U is produced by super producer SeriouslyK5, who has an impressive resume himself. The two have collabed on numerous hits and have become a dynamic duo that each shine on each record. Probably the first notable sound in this production is obviously the doorbell which immediately catches you off guard. It's obviously a bold move on SerioulyK5's part as this isn't a sound listeners are accustomed to, and the same could be said for Timberland's production. But as the track moves on the doorbell blends into the production seamlessly and is almost unnoticeable. Now that we got that out of the way let's talk about the verses. Flavio Cútatore really found his pocket when it comes to his vocal performance on this track. It showcases his vocal talent as he incorporates various vocal runs, falsettos, and other technical vocal terms that apply. Short answer. He sang! And how he is in his own lane. In my own lane make my own rules, In a world of CGI effects and augmented realities director Cashahoma decided to do the complete opposite and kept it Vintage. With a single that was suave, Flavio Cútatore kept it debonair. And for anyone wondering what is "FLAVOR". Flavio Cútatore more than answered the question, he exemplified it in this video. What was most interesting in the video was the leading lady, who was nothing short of a JET Magazine model, whose style and the way she carried herself spoke confidence without having to say one word. Or as Flavio Cútatore explains in the first verse, that she's pass all the dime piece comparisons, she's in a different class of women. She's got flavor. The video shows an extravagant yet unboastful lifestyle that is tasteful, timeless, and attainable 2U. The only critique I would have about the video is that there is a 20 second gap where there is no sound at all which can seem like a lifetime to viewers who are still on the fence about whether or not to watch the whole video. So how do you sum up a video that has soo much imagery? Easy. 2 words. ALL FLAVOR!
