I am guilty. But before you judge let me explain of what. I am guilty of making things 'convoluted'. See I just did it again. I have at times used these complex big words in an effort to one-up Shakespeare himself. But then I realized something. I realized that at the end of the day who cares if you can use these crazy big words or not. What's the point of using fancy big words if nobody understands you? What's the point if nobody gets your point?
So here's my point. I came across Zack Thra$h, a Tulsa rapper who has made a name for himself in the hip-hop scene, including earning the respect of his peers and audiences along the way. I pushed play on the track called simply 'Grow'. And at first I was wrecking my brain trying to think of this crazy Shakespearean way of getting across what I felt he was trying to say in the song. So I started analyzing it, the beat is crazy, his flow is crazy but I still didn't know quite what to say. That was until I realized that I had missed the point of the song all together. Somethings don't need an explanation or a comment, sometimes the answer is the experience. So without further explanation. Here's Zack Thra$h's experience. Grow.
